Milford RES is thrilled to announce that we have been retained by a world famous space exploration / car manufacturer to recruit the next phase of astronauts for a forthcoming mission to Mars!
Departing in late 2027, five successful applicants will be embarking on the historic first manned mission to another planet.
Our candidates will undergo a rigorous 12 month training programme including piloting, navigation, antigravity accustomisation, growing potato crops using human made fertiliser, interplanetary diplomacy and rudimentary rocket science.
To apply for these positions you must meet the following criteria:
- You must have GCSEs of grade C or higher in Maths, English, PE and foreign languages
- Previous space exploration experience would be highly advantageous
- Otherwise similar experience in a relevant simulated space exploration field such as No Man’s Sky, EVE Online or Starfox would be an acceptable alternative
- Some grasp of interplanetary languages
- Comfortable spending prolonged periods in cramped environments / cryosleep
- You must be no taller than 5’10” and weigh no more than 12 stone (due to spacesuit size restrictions)
- Physically fit and in possession of at least 50% of wits
All applicants must be willing to sign an affidavit confirming they will refrain from all interspecies fraternising until such time as the safety or otherwise of such relationships has been established. You must also absolve the employer of any liability in the unlikely event of stranding.
